2. What stays and what goes? Cabinet boxes, counters, appliances, flooring.
3. Does anything move? The sink, the range, a wall, a window.
4. Roughly what do you want to spend? A range is fine. It keeps the introduction realistic, and the budget guide can help you set one.
5. When would you like the work to start?

An introduction, then a visit, then a written quote. We pass your answers to a licensed contractor who handles that kind of job. They contact you to arrange a time to see the kitchen, measure it and put a price in writing. Everything from the visit onward is between you and the contractor.

• Rough measurements of the cabinet runs, if you have them.
